“There are always traitors to any cause. Never trust anyone. Never.”

It is an enthralling read that takes you to the beguiling world of Kali. Using deceitful tactics, Kali (the Lord of Kaliyug) has managed to escape the prison. Shatru, a demi-god along with Sunanda and Kris, has discovered the escape of Rakshaas using the 16th doorway. On the other hand, a Rap Sage is in quest of Shiromani, the stone that was once embedded on the head of Ashwatthama. The Rakshaas and the Gods must join hands to stop Kali.

The story starts with the death of Ashwatthama. From there on, I couldn’t move as the story held my breath. I finished this book in one sitting as the author took me on the ride to various Loks. Once this happened, there was no looking back, as the story completely controlled reader’s mind.

The plot of the story is mind-boggling. With fantastic narration and vivid characters, the story reaches a high bar. There are many characters, and the story may confuse you at first, but gradually, readers will easily connect the dots.

What I liked the most about this book was the gripping narration of Ashwatthama’s death. I’ve read many books related to Ashwatthama’s death, but this one was the best. The beautiful blend of fantasy with mythological characters is incredible.

Overall, if you are a fan of mythological stories or a fantasy reader, this book is for you. Song of the Trinity won’t let you down.

This is a mythological fantasy thriller based in the present day. The book is full with mythical creatures, Gods and Demons and a supreme evil. So it’s a perfect book for the lovers of these genres.

The prologue of the book starts with the introduction of The Kali; Lord of Kaliyug, another name Kroni the Other, a Maharishi. Who believes that removing hope will decrease the chaos in universe. And it’s a scene of the end of Kaliyug. When Kali fled away from the trinity.

Then in the next chapter we see a scene from Kurukshetra, and get to see the curse put on Ashwatthama by Krishna and this starts a cycle of the incidents in kaliyuga.

Then in the next chapter we meet the trio , Kris, Sunanda, the Asurin General and Ajathashatru, his master and our protagonists. They’re in the mission to clear all the followers that are helping Kali to break free from his prison so that he can’t destroy this Kaliyuga like the previous one. And then our main captivating tale starts.

From the very beginning there’s so many things going on that you will probably think what’s the connection between all these. We meet so many characters and so many past stories that for a moment it’ll be all overwhelming. But after sometime it’ll be a smooth ride.

What I like most about the book is how the author make the mythological characters in Gen Z version. Like we have a Rap Sage. And all the characters will feel like a modern day characters. And its never feel like too much or absurd. For that we have to praise the author’s writing and storytelling style.

There are some books that made you breathless, and you need to stop to absorb the book, need a break to breathe to take rest because of the power of the book became agitated and a whirlwind of excitement made you fricking, it is that kind of book.

In a bold and crispy way, author started telling us a captivating story that unfurled a very interesting blending of fantasy, mythology, and science fiction.

When the Mahabharata ended, Pandavas and Krishna left Ashwatthama with his unfathomable emotions, strange and staggered to his feet and went to search for devilish revenge. Kaliyug entered and started putting its claws into the heart of humanity.
In the age of deceit and treachery, his vassals are exploiting every flaw and weakness to break their liege out of captivity.

The worlds are destroyed, villains resurrected, and mortals and Gods are annihilated, all of it just so Kali can rule over the universe. When he breaks loose, nothing can stop the end of days.

The Gods are struggling to stop their infighting and to build an alliance to face the ancient peril. A handful of Bravehearts including a cursed warrior, a one-of-a-kind Demi-God, a raging sage, and an extraterrestrial orphan are all that stand between the unspeakable evil and the existence of the universe.

Hopelessly outnumbered, can they stop a nemesis that can kill them by merely glaring at them?

The best thing I loved about the book is his magnificent writing style, he has a grip on words. Very elegant and poetic eloquence skillfully

“Song of Trinity: The Rise of Kali,” by VadhQOTD: Any Mythology book recommendations?

“Song of Trinity: The Rise of Kali,” by Vadhan, is a gripping mythological fantasy read. Well, I love reading mythology books a lot and it is a genre that I like to read regularly. This story is set when the world is at the end and the Lord of Kaliyug, Kali returns to take his vengeance with his vassals and now the world is on the edge to be doomed. Now what will happen? How will save this destruction? Who will prevent this not happen?

Though I read many mythology books this book owns a very special place in my heart as everything about this book is great. This book showcases many characters from the Indian mythology. I like how the author included gods in the book and described their characters and traits amazingly well.

The plot of the book is very intriguing to read. The characterization is top notch. The language is easy to read and the author’s writing style is eloquent. this book is a fantasy cliffhanger based on the actual world, but it also has considerable mythological creatures, Gods, Demons, and a Supreme Evil. This book is a fantasy cliffhanger based on the actual world, but it also has considerable mythological creatures, Gods, Demons, and a Supreme Evil. The story starts with “The Kali” Lord of Kaliyug. In this story, we see a world of demolition. Kali, The lord of kaliyug, plots his vengeance from his impenetrable penitentiary. The author has portrayed a confrontation between the gods and the resurrected villain in this story, which adds to the interest of the story. Due to this collision, a lot of devastation has also been shown. This is a fictional story that the author has depicted remarkably competently. All the characters are excellently depicted by the author. Everyone has their advantages and impediments and all belong to distinct backgrounds. In particular, we are shown the struggle between good and evil in this story.

The story is formulated relatively nicely. This story is especially for those people who love to read mythological and fantasy novels. It takes a lot of patience to read this story and it may take you some time to apprehend it. But as you go ahead, maybe your interest and inquisitiveness will augment this story.

Perfect choice for mythological and fantasy fanatics.

I have always been a fan of mythical reading. This book again with the genre of mythological fantasy won my heart with all the finely embroidered characters along with the story line which is based on the mythical figures but the author has with the help of imagery done mastery over blending it with today’s atmosphere.

How would you kill a man who cannot die ?

Kaliyug ! Every one of us familiar with the very word. It has been said that when lust will linger violently in the human eyes, when the blood will starts to taste sweeter more than smiles , when vengeance will reside in everyone’s psyche thAt means kaliyug have already arrived with the vehicle to take it all the sufferings of the mother earth.

I wonder why, after all, I have not done anything THEY had Not done .

The fight between evil and good is not new. will Kali , the lord of kaliyuga will be successful in pinning everyone down ? events from the mythical scriptures have been taken and furnished with modern textures, he had felt the need to label himself.

The book “Song of the Trinity” examines the oncoming disaster that the cosmos itself faces in an epic story of colossal proportions and takes us on an exciting adventure as we approach the end of the world. The author spins a suspenseful tale populated by antiquated prophesies, vengeful deities, and a varied cast of heroes who bravely attempt to foil the evil schemes of the Lord of Kaliyug, Kali.

In order to dominate the cosmos and take her vengeance, Kali is adamant. The topic of godly alliances and rivalries deepens the plot by underlining the intricacies of divine politics and the need for unity. The stakes are quite high, and the heroes are vastly outnumbered. Their individual adventures, inner struggles, and progress throughout the narrative give their quest emotional meaning and depth. They represent the unbreakable spirit of bravery despite being vastly outnumbered by Kali.

The author’s command of imagery enables us to see the obliteration of worlds, the reappearance of villains, and the battles between gods and humans with astounding clarity.

In this book, the author examines concepts like sacrifice, cooperation, and the resiliency of the human spirit. It is a riveting and thought-provoking story because of Vadhan’s ability to imagine epic conflicts, arouse feelings, and explore important themes of good vs evil, fate versus free will, and the power of unity.

The story has an interesting tone. The book’s title and cover page are fitting well with the plot. The language is clear and basic. The narrative has been recounted extremely nicely by the author.

After skimming through quite a few YA reads , I was looking for something scintillating, exciting and adventurous and nothing better than a thriller to quench your unending thirst and hence I decided to pick this.

“Song Of The Trinity” is a novel that explores the subject of Yugas and how it is imminent that in Kaliyug something is about to implode . It does it rather nonchalantly but with a lot of conviction and ease . The author’s penchant for vivid descriptions makes the book a visual delight for the readers and one remains glued to the premise in anticipation of what is to come.

The deceptions, the treachery , the deceit , the tale covers it all and with a master storyteller at the helm , it makes the experience all the more surreal. But no work is without its shortcomings or let downs if I can take the liberty of literally being a critique. The pace at some instances fell flat and makes the momentum rather dazy. Though the world building and the imagery sort of compensates that.

Overall , an enjoyable read

As per Hindu mythology ,Kaliyuga is one of the four yugas when adharm is extreme and the God Kalki has to come down on Earth to bring balance between good and bad.Nowadays various writers have used this broad theme to write mythofantasy genre novels. This book is an another potboiler for sure due to its treatment of the subject.
Divided into small chapters , the writer weaves a fast-paced and an interesting story involving Kali , the lord of Kaliyuga. This villain God has been imprisoned in an impregnable prison but his minions try every trick to free him.Worried about this development various forces like a cursed warrior Ashwathama from Mahabharata , a demigod , a raging safe and an extraterrestrial orphan make an alliance to stop him.
But will this team , who has their own infightings to resolve , can stop Lord kali , read this interesting book to find out.
The book is quite fast paced and involves plenty of turn of events to keep the reader engaged till end.The cover page is quite apt and it is sure a pleasure to read.

“Song of the Trinity: The rise of Kali” by Vadhan is a mythological based fantasy novel. Kali , The Lord of Kaliyug, languishing in an impregnable prison, is devising a terrible revenge. The Gods are struggling to stop their infighting and to build an alliance to face the ancient period.

The story have been knitted with proper mythical background; finally, the compelling storyline, strong characterisation, perspicuous coherence between the deeds and the doers, gripping narration and lucid language have made the book a genuinely fascinating rather fascinatingly genuine read.

I feel that the title and book cover is intriguing enough for anyone to enchant the author’s creativity. A mythological world that couldn’t be made better than this. The pace of the book was super exciting. Thoroughly I enjoyed the read and would recommend this to every curious reader out there.

I don’t want to rate it as only a mythological fiction. The author has fetched the myths in reality and made it a fantastic read for the readers of this generation.
